the combination of Thai Restuarant integrated into the hotel is nice, but the meal I have order is not so Thai authentic

What's not to like. A stay in a castle with a private balcony, fabulous views and being very well looked after. Free minibar and complimentary sherry in the room. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide choice from the buffet.
This traditional hotel lies in Oberwesel’s Old Town, a 6-minute drive from the Loreley Rock. Its rooms offer a flat-screen TV and wonderful views of Schönburg Castle or the River Rhine.

Great location, easy acces by car and free (limited) parking spots available. Our room was on 2th floor, accessible by stairs or elevator. Was clean and decent. The breakfast was great too, maybe a little basic, but it has everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some do also speak English. Overall great stay, good price, and everything was hygienic. Would definitely recommend

Cozy and spacious apartment 3 minutes walk from the historic center of Oberwesel. Fantastically located in the heart of the absolutely beautiful mittelrhein area. A very comfortable base for exploration. Highly recommended.
The excellent stage 10 of the RheinBurgenWeg passes right by the house. We hiked a few hours to Sankt Goar, the next village down the river and came back by train.
The owners are a super friendly family who made themselves available to help. We forgot something valuable at the apartment when we left. The owner went to the trouble of finding it for us and mailinig it back. Highly appreciated!

Christian was a very friendly and helpful host, with a good sense of humour. He and Marcel have a fabulous garden which they work very hard at, and of which they are justifiably very proud. Thank you for taking the time to show us round.
The property was spacious and beautifully presented.
This is our second time to stay at the castle. You can not imagine how nice it was to bring our granddaughter and her husband with us. What a wonderful stay . Meals were excellent, the veranda seating was outstanding, food was so perfectly done and the staff was way beyond excellent. We asked for some changes in our menu and the senior waiter was on top of everything! We are old but if we could we will come again!

We really enjoyed the medieval feel of the town.
We really enjoyed the medieval feel of the town. They were preparing for a medieval festival while we were there. We wished we could have visited one of the wine restaurants, but they were closed until almost dinner time, and we had reservations at the Schoenberg castle restaurant (which also offered wonderful wines!)

Oberwesel has all the features of a typical historical town along the Rhine river, but it is less busy than nearby Bacharach or Sankt Goar. The town itself could do with some more restaurants and cafés. The scenery is woinderful, with excellent hiking and walking trails (towards the Loreley, or towards Bacharach). If you look for a really quite place to stay, the villages in the hills above Oberwesel may be a good choice.

Oberwesel is a relatively small town in a great situation on the Rhine. It has a selection of shops for all essentials including a Lidl and Rewe and touristy ones. It also has a selection of cafes and restaurants and easy access to other locations which widen the choice further. One of many towns and villages in the Rhine valley and wine region that are well worth visiting,

Oberwesel is a lovely old place with lots of places to visit. The castle on top of the hill is fantastic with a big view. There are lots of old buildings and part of the town wall is still standing. On some parts of it you can walk on top. In another area there are still towers in it. On the river Rhine which has a walk and cycle path along it in both directions.

We just spent one night in Oberwesel and it was fine. Walked to the sights and caught a cruise on Rhine it was our last night exploring Rhine area before heading back to states we loved the apple streudel and coffee at the cafe on main drag by our hotel
Landhotel Kronprinz is a small cosy hotel in a quiet village close to the Rhine valley; staff (well, the family that runs the hotel) is exceptionally welcoming and really does everything to make your stay comfortable. The large garden with stunning view over the hills is a plus, but the true surprise was the excellent dinner: a combination of traditional cuisine with a creative and original touch, and great care for detail. Actually quite remarkable for such a small hotel.
Really an excellent base for exploring the oberes Mittelrhein region.
We loved everything about this hotel! We were greeted by the hotel owner Paul who’s family has owned this estate for over 6 generations! The value for what you receive is incredible!Their restaurant, hotel and wine from their vineyards is absolutely amazing! Their restaurants 5 star rating is very deserving with their dinners and generous breakfast. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds, nice furniture, a great shower and large spa tub. The windows up to a cool summer breeze and meals can be enjoyed outside on their patio.
Large room with superb excellent beds. Nice terrace with wonderful sightseeing on the Rhine.
Friendly staff and excellent food (thaï) at the restaurant. Local wine highly recommended: the proposed red one was really exceptional for a perfect price. The price of our rooms was really affordable and one of the best value/price ever encountered in all our travels ! We really recommend this hotel, firstly directly to our friends and trough booking to all travelers !
This place is so awesome. We loved staying here and will totally come back. The hosts are SO NICE. We got lost at the station and they came to pick us up! The place itself is totally beautiful and wonderful for a relaxing time and also to explore Oberwesel. We came in the winter and used it as a break between traveling to chill. It was fantastic. I would love to return in the summer. Great place!!
Location is awesome, definitely one of the highlights. The staff were so friendly and helpful (always a smile), the minibar was all free (which never happens). The rooms were so interesting, the hotel really made it feel like an experience, even down to the tiny details of the room. Fantastic place! Buffet breakfast was phenomenal!!! So impressed with value for money! very quiet at night!
It’s a very lovely place with a history. They paid a lot of attention to details decorating the guesthouse. Owners are very friendly and nice. The breakfast is just amazing, home made cakes, quiche etc., one of the best breakfast I’ve had in hotels. We stayed only one night and absolutely loved it. If we are in this area again, we will stay there for sure.
Very large apartment; beds were comfortable, which is a rare find in Germany. Good communication despite a language barrier. Hosts were very accommodating and went out of the way to prepare extra amenities for our kids. We were able to park down the street without any problems. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
Quiet location, pleasant atmosphere, traditional furnishing that is well kept and very respectable. Excellent and very generous breakfast! A short 5 minute walk takes you to Oberwesel where you can view so much by day and enjoy good food by night. Excellent meals also available at the Gutsschanke.
The castle experience was simply out of this world! Loved everything from the beginning till the end: friendly staff, stylized and comfortable room, delicious food, fantastic location and the views! Aesthetics and the ambience of the hotel are just magical. Will definitely come back again!
Lovely light ,airy spacious room with modern bathroom. We paid for a room with a balcony which looked over gardens and a stream at the side. It was close to the river and had parking. The restaurant was in a lovely garden behind the hotel and served delicious food, though rather pricey.
The views from our room with a balcony over the Rhine were spectacular, and we loved our stroll through the garden! The breakfast and dinner were delicious as well, and staff were super friendly. You can tell this hotel takes a lot of pride in what they do. Would happily return!
The receptionist was super friendly and helpful, check in was smooth en efficiënt. The hotel itself is in a beautiful village, and it fits perfectly in that style.
The rooms are nicely decorated and have all the necessities.
The breakfast buffet was sumptuous, and delicious.
A great place to stay in Oberwesel! The host (Christian) is very friendly and helpful. The appartment was quiet, cosy and very clean. It is well located between the railway station and the city center, with lots of things to discover.
Our 2 bedroom apartment was fabulous. More spacious and better looking than the photos. We also had a massive terrace and it all presents very well. 5 stars on that. It's in a very central spot in Oberwesel and we loved staying here.
It is a lovely house in the old tradition but well maintained. It's a fairly small town but the hotel is quite central. Parking was very close to the hotel and quite cheap (4 euro per day). Breakfast was quite substantial.
In the center of Oberwesel, a very nice and comfortable appartment, with all you need for a small family of a few people. Fully equiped, clean, and comfortable. The hosts are friendly, responsive, and very attentive.
The hotel is uniquely situated on a hill top along the Rhine River with grape fields dotting the hills.
The wait staff were friendly helpful and treated you like family.
Everything went well. The hotel is lovely and comfy. The food was lovely both the evening meal and breakfast. The staff are very good and cannot be faulted in any way.
