Ok so this place is in a quiet part of Korcula island about 45 mins walking from the main town. We loved the bay it sits in and had some of incredibly relaxing evenings walking around and gazing at the water. It was truly magical. The breakfast was the best on our trip and the staff was awesome. The little beach in the front of the hotel is awesome for just relaxing the day away.

The double room, bedroom and living area facing the sea was excellent. It is not too far from the ferry port and easy to find. The outside lounge area facing the water was very peaceful and the staff was excellent and refreshments are available as you lounge outside. The staff were warm and welcoming. The walking distance into the heart of the historic town was good. A great find on this island!

Aminess Hotels has purchased the resort since our last visit. Kudos for their upgrades, and the indoor pool refurbish was spectacular! We spent almost a week in May. The reason we returned to Croatia was specifically to be at the Marco Polo and soak in the scenery, changing colors and history again. The Manager, Marina Lovrincevid, was wonderful with the guests, and her team based supervision of the staff. She is an Aminess company gem! Also special thanks to the wonderful staff we interacted with daily, who helped us in every way: Dragan, Emma, Nik, Monika and Yellena. The beds and food are great. The view is imprinted on us forever. If we can ever make it back to Croatia, it will be to return to the Marco Polo. Thanks so much, Suellen and Rick Carroll

The room was spacious, wonderful balcony views and worthy of a feature in an interior design magazine.

Host was fantastic and very helpful. Very slow during shoulder season. Close to passenger ferry in the middle of Old Town.

Beautiful apartment and super clean. Well stocked with nice toiletries and everything one would need for comfort such as a well stocked kitchen. Hosts were very kind especially with letting us check in early. We checked out at 1000 and had a two hour wait for our ferry. We were able to leave our bags so we could spend more time in the old city prior to the ferry arriving.

We spent most of our time in the Old City, which is spectacular. Beautiful old architecture, flowers everywhere, and all surrounded by the Adriatic and mountains. No shortage of good restaurants, most with incredible views. We attended the Moreska Sword Dance performance, which was a lot of fun. There is a small pebble beach nearby. What we loved most were the aesthetic details throughout the old city. We also took a wonderful wine tasting and sightseeing tour, which provided an opportunity to see other parts of the beautiful island.

Old town buzzing with tourists, restaurants in old town predictable and quite expensive. Some more interesting ones just out of town centre. Came to cycle along coast roads. Western road shut off due to maintenance, so the purpose for our visit was ruined. Tourist office had (has) no warning about this on their website, but still advertising the main cycle route. There are a lot of cyclists on the island, with many bike hire shops. Tourist office not being honest by not warning visitors about this closure.

A delightful old town with lots of history and a beautiful waterfront. The unexpected find was the newly renovated Marco Polo Museum. It was beautifully presented and the story was fascinating. It really deserves to be better known - including by the locals! It is worth checking which side of the peninsula has the wind when choosing your restaurant, but a short walk around the options will soon tell you that - and the views are beautiful wherever you are.

Long way to Korčuls island but it is fantastic. Nice people, nice places, beautifull clean sea. Very good road so in 30 minutes you can be from one side of the island to the other. Good vine, nice food and in April it is not crowded.

My second time in Korcula and this time I brought my snorkels and the effort paid off. We snorkeled as much as we could and were gratified by so many sea urchins and star fish! The water temperature in late September was just perfect. We kept going back to this one restaurant Marco Polo because the staff Antonio was informative and entertaining. Their Posip (white wine from Korcula) was bar none the best we had! We kept saying next time we could cut short all the other locations in Croatia and just stay longer in Korcula!
We were very happy with this accommodation. The staff were extremely nice. They were helping us with any trouble we had. The hotel has very good breakfast and dinners. We were very very happy and will definitely come back.
We also want to say BIG thank you to the staff. We forgot the passwords when we left the hotel and were already in Split. The hotel packed the passwords and send them to the next ferry. We received our passwords and were able to leave the country. We will be forever grateful!
room was not as described 2nd floor but we had to walk up many stairs. there was a tiny, tiny window , the room was small , had slanted ceiling with dirty shade covering a skylight. The carpet was very worn , the shower was tiny and room had limited light This was once a palace or very wealthy persons home, but we were given the upper servants quarters. hotel lovation, facilities, food and servers were excellent front desk not so much very dissatisfied with room
We truly liked everything abput this cozy, pretty little apartment. We had the best shower here during three weeks around Croatia. There was even homemade biscuits for us (delicious!). It is super central, but it was still quiet at night (shoulder season), and the windows are well sound-proofed. They even arranged a free parking space for our rental car.
I would stay again and will recommend this place to all who are planning to go to Korcula.
The place is very comfortable and the staff is kind! Good showers and beds, very clean. There's even a small kitchen if you need to prepare your own food. It's quite small, and there are no common areas besides the small kitchen, but it's definitely cosy to stay for one or two nights while exploring the town and enjoying the beach. Korcula is also very small and easy to explore, and the hostel is right in the middle of Old Town.
What a gem! Freshly refurbished house, modern design. Sparkling clean, nice owners and the beds! We were not able to find more comfortable beds in 4 star hotels. But wait until you walk outside of the house. Ideal spot with a view over to old Town and the mountains, just spectacular. Oh sorry, and if that's not enough - the is an acces to the beach 10 meters from the house. Don't look elsewhere. This is the place to be!
Excellent location! Oldest hotel in Korcula with a ton of history. The old photos in the bar were a step back to a grand era of royalty and celebrity. Breakfast buffet had abundant options and service was excellent. The room was roomier than expected. All staff were very friendly, pleasant, and helpful.
Beautiful location, set beachfront on what one taxi driver described as Korcula's best bay. Wonderful staff too - always helpful and friendly. The food wasn't cheap but it was well worth the money. Korcula island is a gem and I'm so happy with our choice of hotel - a really relaxing stay.
Great spot in Korcula! Easy walk from marina, up a few stairs. Met by lovely owner who was very friendly and helpful, gave us some great tips about the island. Basic accommodation for tow, all you need ... nice double bed, clean bathroom and a cute little terrace overlooking ocean.
The hotel and the room interior had such a wonderful charm. Amenities were all perfect. The location is walking distance from Korcula Old Town. And every single staff member was so friendly, helpful and professional. It was such a pleasure to stay at Moro Hotel.
Location was close to the Old Town of Korcula and the hosts were amazing and they even cleaned my car after I asked them where I could take my car for a good clean up.
Apartment was nice and clean and looked lije a hotel rather than a regular apartment
Beautiful apartment, lots of space inside and a private outdoor terrace too. Nico is an excellent host even collecting us from the port on arrival! A short 15 min walk into town or a bus stop around the corner (Korčula to Lumbarda).
We absolutely loved this hotel! The beach area had crystal clear water that was great for swimming, the rooms were beautiful and had huge patios and the included breakfast was perfect. Great staff as well!
A wonderful host that was very helpful with all the information we needed for our stay in Korcula. The apartment is very clean and all the essentials are there. Fantastic place to base a stay in Korcula.
The hotel was
really close to the old town! The staffs were super friendly.
The room itself was a bit old - especially the bathroom was very small (and Stinky) !
What a location! Korcula is beautiful and we loved being able to get to the old town by taxi boat. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has great facilities.
